Telefunken M82 BROADCAST PACKAGE

The M82 is an end-address microphone, which means that you point the upper part of the headgrill towards your source, it is equipped with two separate EQ switches: high BOOST and KICK EQ.
These two switches work independently of each other, and it provides four unique settings and great flexibility. This allows the user to tailor the microphone response.
The HIGH BOOST switch boosts the upper midrange and the high frequencies (starting around 2 kHz with a 6dB boost at 10kHz). For broadcast vocals or guitar amps, it is thus possible to get extra articulation and airiness in the upper register. For large drum use, it allows for more attack when placed in a large drum.
This allows for either a vintage-style big drum sound, or more modern sound, or in conjunction with broardcast where the M82´s direct sound provides a comfortable and detailed reproduction in the ether.
On broadcast vocals, the M82 is both detailed and warm with a clear and open frequency response. A microphone that can be used both live and in the studio.
