Founded in 1958 by Jack Wilson, Auratone has been family owned for over 50 years. Jack started the company out of his garage in Chula Visa, California and the rest is history as it became one of the most reputable studio monitor brands worldwide. The legendary 5C Super Sound Cubes, which are found in studios across the globe, are still the industry standard today.

Today, the company has moved its offices from Coronado, California to Nashville, Tennessee, and continues to be family owned. Our products are hand crafted in our Nashville shop to ensure they are of the highest quality. As Jack used to say, “I will never sacrifice quality for quantity.” Jack's name and what he did for the recording industry will always be remembered, and we look to keep his legacy alive for years to come.
