Bricasti Design was formed by former Lexicon employees with the sole purpose of creating the best sounding hardware reverb. The quality of the reverberation is absolutely decisive for the musical result, and despite the many possibilities available today with software plug-ins, there is still a "real" reverberation in the big music studios. In the "old days" it was almost always a Lexicon 480 or the replacement 960 - today the place is often taken over by a Bricasti M7.
