Tube-Tech

Tube-tech is real world-class pipe sound. The easily recognizable blue devices are in leading studios around the world and have for decades maintained a position as the ultimate in audio quality, regardless of the changing trends in recording techniques.

Tube-tech is produced by Danish Lydkraft, which was founded by the former DR employee, John G Petersen, back in 1977. In the early 80s, John became acquainted with classic tube processors such as Pultec EQ and Teletronic LA2A compressor. The combination of high sound quality and simple technical design was both fascinating and inspiring, and in 1985 the first Tube-Tech product, PE 1A, was produced in Jonh's garage.

The site is followed by a string of extremely well-sounding and simply designed blue tube processors, all created on John's principle: the coveted warm sound can only be created with tube technology in simple circuits and by using the very best components.
