Sublime mastering EQ.
EMI TG12345 Curve Bender eq is based on EMI's classic EMI TG12345 mixer series that was installed in EMI's studios, and in particular the legendary Abbey Road studio back in the mid-1960s.
The EMI TG12345 mixer used for the recordings of The Beatles and Pink Floyd and a host of other legendary bands is known and loved for its musicality and universal usability. Therefore, it continues to be used for the critical mastering tasks in Abbey Road.
The new reproduction of the EMI equalizer continues in line with EMI's tradition of building its own solutions and which started in 1951 - 1956 with RS56 / RS114. The RS56 Eq´ was nicknamed “the Curve bender” by EMI´'s designers and it continued in the following years with TG12345 in 1968, and TG12412 in 1974. Chandler Curve Bender brings the legendary musical TG12345 equalizer into the 21st century with the features expected today of a high-end eq for professional use.
