Audient iD14 is a 2 in / out USB sound card solidly built in a metal construction with aluminum buttons.
The two preamps are of the same quality as known from Audient's large desks, and the AD / DA converters are from Burr Brown.
There is also a high-quality instrument input on the front.

The large volume button doubles as a scroll wheel to control other user-selected functions / parameters.
It can be a channel in the iD14s mixer app, a parameter in a plug-in or the playlist in your iTunes library. When the button is not used as a scroll wheel, it can control various monitor functions such as Dim, Cut, Mono, talkback or cue mix monitoring.

Via the optical input (ADAT or SPDIF), the number of inputs can be expanded up to 10 with an 8-channel preamp / AD converter.
