Pearl Priority

Pearl Priority is a large-membrane microphone with a fixed kidney characteristic. 

For this microphone, Pearl has developed a new diaphragm that is adapted to production and thus has the opportunity to offer Pearl quality at a lower price.

But it's still a real Pearl rectangular membrane!

 

The frequency response is basically as flat as on the other Pearl models. Priority is an all-round microphone intended for all acoustic instruments or vocals. 

The capsule has been deliberately tuned slightly, and the frequency response shows a small boost (2-3 dB) around 5 kHz corresponding to the coveted “presence” for vocals.

 

The look differs a lot from previous Pearl models. Priority is packed in a somewhat larger steel housing, and the green LED bulb on the front appeals to any studio owner or singer who can see with their own eyes that the microphone is on!
