Arturia Keylab Essential 61
Is the perfect combination of the freedom of software and the hardware control that is so important and inspiring in hardware synth.
Arturia has here developed a tightly integrated package where it all goes up into a higher unit. Analog Lab is Arturia's software workstation which is a very comprehensive collection of presets / sounds from their award-winning software emulations of classical instruments, among others. Moog, Roland Jupiter, Yamaha CS 80 and many others. There is control of typical parameters such as cutoff, res, etc. mv. so a bit simplistic in relation to the individual full instruments - the sound is, however, identical.
The midi controller has full control of the software and the individual parameters. Everything is mapped directly and automatically to the controller, incl. preset shift - making the system an intuitive and extremely usable combo.
KeyLab can of course be used with all existing DAW such as Pro Tools, Studio One, Live ect. And KeyLab can of course also be used as a traditional midi controller with other software instruments.
